Hawkeye Community College is excited to announce the signing of Union High School standout Haylee Keune to the RedTail Volleyball team.

Keune put together an impressive career for the Knights, tallying 45 kills, 59 assists, and 477 digs in 311 total games. She also had an 86.4 serving percentage, including 75 aces. Keune was a member of the 2016 Union State Volleyball Championship team, and also earned a second team All-Conference volleyball selection during her senior campaign.

“Haylee is such a versatile player that adds a dimension to our defensive depth that we really needed,” said Scott West, RedTail Volleyball head coach.
“What I immediately noticed is she’s aggressive on the floor regardless of what position she might be playing. She had 65 service aces her senior season, so she’s not afraid to take some chances. She’s just one of those tenacious players who has the ability to make a positive impact.”

Keune is the daughter of Kenny and Tammy Keune of La Porte City.
