One need only step out the door to feel that winter has finally arrived in Iowa. As hard as it is to “reacquaint” ourselves with the cold, a few dustings of that white stuff sure spreads Christmas cheer. As we are ending another year at the Museum, we are grateful for the support we have received. From volunteers who design exhibits, dust, and build almost anything we need, to those who lend in their collections or offer their knowledge or to those who support us financially, YOU ALL play an invaluable role in the success of the Museum.
A BIG thank you to everyone who has plucked a tag from our giving tree and bought a much needed item to contribute to our future success. Since the Museum has closed for the season you may visit our giving tree which is now located at the Library. There is a wide range of items still available on our wish lists including copy paper, paper towels, mechanical pencils, a laminator, and acrylic cubes. Or if you wish you may make a cash donation and we will do the shopping for you. The donation of these items help us to be able to use our budget to create new exhibits and events.
As we end this year we wish you and your family a peaceful and blessed holiday season. We look forward to seeing you next year at the Museum!
