Herb Hake Exhibition to Open August 12

Herb Hake was a cartoonist, author, historian, and radio and television personality who shared his talents with the Cedar Valley area for almost fifty years. Hake became famous for his “Chalk Talks” where he told stories of Iowa history while he illustrated on the chalkboard.
View the art and cartoons of Herb Hake, and learn the fascinating story of an Iowa legend. The exhibit opened August 12th, with a special artist reception night on Thursday, August 28th from 5-7 PM. Special admission for that evening will be $2.00, with light refreshments provided.
