The ASPIRE Therapeutic Riding Program of Waterloo is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide benefits to individuals with physical, cognitive, and emotional disabilities through animal-assisted activities and outreach programs.

ASPIRE will host its 14th annual spring fundraising event, “Trotting Toward the Future,” formerly known as “Let’s Dance So They Can Ride,” on Saturday, May 4. The event will be held at the NewAldya Lifescapes in Cedar Falls.

Doors will open at 6:30 PM, with hors d’oeuvres and cash bar from 7-9 PM, including a silent auction. A live auction will begin at 8:30. Providing music will be Milk & Honey.

Tickets for the event are $20 in advance, or $25 at the door, and will include one complimentary drink ticket for the night. All proceeds raised will be used to help provide riding scholarships to individuals in need of financial assistance.
