Koby Alpers had a great day at the plate and on the mound, but it wasn’t enough as the Union Knights fell to Hudson, 2-1 on June 11. Alpers had singles in the first and third innings, scoring the Knights’ only run of the game. On the mound, Alpers allowed just two unearned runs, four hits and no walks over four innings, striking out six.

In the first inning, Union’s lone run came on an RBI single by Blake Faber. Hudson took the lead fior good in the fourth inning when it scored two runs on two singles.
