Game two began better for the visiting team as Union jumped up 1-0 early lead. Junior Justin Carey led off with a single, was sacrificed to second by Holschlag, and scored on a Tecklenburg single. Marion regained the lead in the bottom of the second scoring three off Union starter Justin Carey. Union tacked on two more in the fourth to regain the lead. Tecklenburg led the inning off with a single and later scored on a single by freshman Cael Lambe. Lambe would then score on a Bryon Sells’ single. Marion’s bats again came to life in the fourth and fifth innings scoring five in each inning to end the game by the ten run rule 13-3.
Carey suffered the loss for the Knights.
