The City of La Porte City is seeking applicants to fill an unexpired term on the Hawkins Memorial Library Board of Trustees.  Applicants must reside inside the City limits of La Porte City.  The term will begin immediately, and expire July 1, 2018. The Library Board of Trustees directs and controls all affairs of the Library, including holding regular meetings, hiring of staff, purchases and record keeping.  This Board meets regularly on the 2nd Monday of the month at 6:00 PM at Hawkins Memorial Library located at 308 Main Street.
