Upper Iowa University will host the Iowa Association for College Admission Counseling (IACAC) college fair Monday, September 16, from 9-10:30 a.m. at the recreation center on the Fayette campus. Representatives from over 60 colleges and universities in Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois and Minnesota will be on-hand to answer questions and talk to the high school juniors and seniors from area schools. Tours of the UIU campus will be given immediately following the event.
“The Upper Iowa Office of Admissions is excited to be hosting this fall’s IACAC college fair,” said Storm Schmitt, UIU executive director of admissions. “This is a great event to connect high school juniors and seniors in the area with universities, and get them thinking about their educational goals and life after high school. A college education is very important to succeed in almost every career. Upper Iowa University is poised to offer this large-scale college fair, and to connect these students with their futures.”
Founded in 1857, Upper Iowa University is a private, not-for-profit university providing undergraduate and graduate degree programs and leadership development opportunities to some 6,200 students—nationally and internationally—at its Fayette campus and learning centers worldwide.
