Freckles and The Progress Review encourage potential pet owners who are loving and responsible to consider adopting a pet from the Cedar Bend Humane Society.

You’ve probably seen Brock lounging in the front cat room. He’s pretty hard to miss, as he is one of our largest cat residents, with one of the tiniest tails. Brock suffers from stress-induced alopecia, meaning his fur is falling out in small patches. His condition improved slightly when we gave him his own space away from the other cats, but shelter life is still continuing to stress this boy out, and he desperately needs a home. Brock was abandoned by his family, so we don’t know too much about his past, just that now he is a happy, friendly, ham of a cat who, on most days, has us all in stitches from his wacky antics.
