The Knights enjoyed a strong showing on May 7 at the nine team Falcon Co-Ed Invitational in Parkersburg, finishing with 136 team points, eclipsed only by A-Pā€™s 142 point effort.

Union brought home seven gold medals. Payton Hilton took first in both the shot (39ā€™5″) and discus (114ā€™8″) while Maria Wrage jumped 5ā€™5″ to win the high jump.

On the track speedsters Jess Bohnstengel (1st, 400m, 1:05.60), Brooke Thiele (1st, 800m, 2:33.45), and Breann Bader (1st, 1500m, 5:09.49; 1st, 3000m, 10:43.24) lead the Knight contingent. Other top four finishes were turned in by Kylie Wrobel (2nd, 13.62) and Lauren Krupa (4th, 14.31) in the 100 meter dash, Brooke Thiele in the 1500m (3rd, 5:47.24), and Haley Dietrick in the 400m hurdles (4th, 1:19.73).

Relay events also scored points with the sprint and distance medley groups finishing second, the 4×100 and 4×200 teams taking third, and the 4×400 and shuttle hurdle relay teams fourth.
