WHAT: Opportunities in Early Childhood Education

Hawkeye Community College will host an information session on scholarships, classes, and careers in early childhood education Thursday, February 5, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. in Tama Hall on Hawkeye’s Main Campus.
This information session is ideal for para-educators, teaching associates, childcare providers, and individuals interested in early childhood education careers. The event will include information on classes to earn a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, as well as programs to work toward an associate or bachelor’s degree in education.
T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood IOWA® will have representatives available to discuss scholarship options for individuals currently working in early childhood education. Scholarships are available to cover tuition, travel, and other education expenses.
