A tisket, a tasket, come create a May Day basket. Make baskets Wednesday, April 29 through Friday, May 1, and be prepared for May Day.
Preschoolers love the zoo and the animals they see there. Bring your child in to take a Story Time reading trip to the zoo on Thursday, April 30, at 10:30 AM.
May is Get Caught Reading Month and the library loves readers. So… if you get caught reading at the library in May we have a reward for you!
Kids create with bins of new and exciting LEGO pieces at LEGORAMA on Tuesday, May 5. Don’t forget to register for this fun hands-on building program held from 4 to 5 PM. For ages 3 years and older.
Tinker Bell and the Legend of the NeverBeast is showing at 1:15 PM on Wednesday, May 6. Animal fairy Fawn befriends the mysterious creature known as the NeverBeast. When the Scout Fairies set out to capture the monster before he destroys their home Fawn hopes to rally the girls to save the NeverBeast.
There will be decorations, stamps, and embellishments to choose to use when you design a special Mother’s Day card for your adored parent from Wednesday, May 6 through Saturday, May 9. Remember grandmothers too!
At Story Time on Thursday, May 7, at 10:30 AM preschoolers will read about mothers, and make something special to give to their mom for Mother’s Day.
Reading is Fun, for second and third graders, is on Tuesday, May 12, at 4 PM. Join the chapter book chat and do a fun activity.
During spring cleaning please remember that the library could use a few things: T-shirts with a blank front or back, card tables, craft supplies, DVDs, recent books and children’s books, table cloths, games, puzzles, holiday and seasonal decorations, and LEGO and DUPLO blocks.
