Superman, The Movie is showing at the library on Wednesday, August 19, at 1:15 PM. An alien orphan is sent from his dying planet to Earth, where he grows up to become his adoptive home’s first and greatest superhero.
The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls is the August Book Club selection on Monday, August 24, at 1 PM. In the beginning, the Walls family lived like nomads, and then later retreated to a dismal West Virginia mining town. As the dysfunction of the family escalated, Jeannette and her brother and sisters had to fend for themselves. Read the book and meet with this group for the discussion.
Register now for Preschool Story Time, beginning on Thursday, September 10. Stories, crafts, games and other entertaining activities are presented Thursday mornings at 10:30 AM during the school year for preschool-aged youngsters.
