Books by Margaret Peterson Haddix will be discussed at the Kid’s Wild About Books Club on Tuesday, December, 16, at 3:45 PM. Kids age 4th grade and older should register and read at least one Margaret Peterson Haddix book before the discussion.
With Christmas just around the corner, Santa is the topic for Story Time on Thursday, December 18, at 10:30 AM. Preschoolers can expect a visit and story from the Jolly Old Elf himself.
Fortune Hunter, by Daisy Goodwin, is the December 22, 1 PM book club discussion selection. This is a brilliant novel containing a lush, irresistible story of the public lives and private longings of grand historical figures. Get a copy of this book at the library and join the discussion.
Share the spirit of the season and take part in the library’s Adopt a Book program. You choose a children’s book from the tree, purchase it, and then receive recognition for your donation with a bookplate placed in that book.
