Merry Christmas from Hawkins Memorial Library. May your holiday be safe, healthy, and joyous.

Adopt a Book at the library this Christmas. Choose a children’s book tag from our tree, purchase the book, and then receive recognition for your donation with a bookplate placed in that book. This would make a wonderful memorial or a special gift in honor of the person who seems to have everything.
Pick up Christmas gifts and stocking stuffers while you grab your books and movies. The library has candles, wax melts, magnets, bookmarks, book letters, album bowls, and hand-stamped cards for purchase.
On Wednesday and Thursday, December 24 and 25, the library will be closed for the Christmas holiday.
Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmas is the 1:15 PM family movie on Monday, December 29. This Christmas themed, three-part video, includes “Donald Duck: Stuck on Christmas,” “A Very Goofy Christmas,”, and “Mickey & Minnie’s Gift Of The Magi.”
Fun and Fancy Free is showing on Tuesday, December 30, at 1:15 PM. Jiminy Cricket hosts two Disney animated shorts: “Bongo,” about a circus bear escaping to the wild, and “Mickey and the Beanstalk,” a take on the famous fairy tale.
At 1:15 PM on Wednesday, December 31, Mickey’s Twice Upon A Christmas is the family movie playing. This is a charming sequel to Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas.
The library will close at 5 PM on Wednesday, December 31, for New Year’s Eve, and remain closed on Thursday, January 1, for New Year’s Day.
The Disney version of Tarzan is the 1:15 PM family movie on Friday, January 2. A man raised by gorillas must decide where he really belongs when he discovers he is a human.
