Preschoolers wearing red will fit the Story Time theme on Thursday, February 19, at 10:30 AM. There will be lots of red books and fun red activities!
Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day is the movie on Friday, February 20, at 1:15 PM. Alexander’s day begins with gum stuck in his hair, followed by more calamities. Though he finds little sympathy from his family and begins to wonder if bad things only happen to him, his mom, dad, brother, and sister all find themselves living through their own terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day.
Read the book and join the discussion for Sing Them Home on Monday, February 23, at 1 PM. This novel is a moving portrait of three siblings who have lived in the shadow of unresolved grief since their mother’s disappearance when they were children. A book is waiting for you at the library.
Monsters aren’t scary, and preschoolers will hear that when reading entertaining and silly monster stories. Children can join us for a monstrous Preschool Story Time on Thursday, February 26.
You have until the end of February to try a Blind Date with a Book. Based only on genre select a book from our display, take it home, unwrap it, and read. Many of our daring blind daters have had love at first read with a new author or series.
