Bring a bear, or two, to Story Time to read with you about bears. Thursday, February 5, we will have the bear facts and fun for preschoolers at 10:30 AM.
Send in your 2nd or 3rd grader for the Reading is Fun Book Club, meeting on Thursday, February 5, at 4 PM. Kids read a chapter book of their choice then meet to tell the other readers about it.
The Boxtrolls is the movie showing on Friday, February 6, at 1:15 PM. A young orphaned boy raised by underground cave-dwelling trash collectors tries to save his friends from an evil exterminator. This movie is based on the children’s novel Here Be Monsters by Alan Snow.
Attend the Valentine Making Party at the library Wednesday, February 11 through Saturday, February 14. You can create unique cards for those you love and be ready to celebrate the holiday. We will have all the supplies.
Have you ever enjoyed a Kate DiCamillo book? The Kid’s Wild About Books Club on Wednesday, February 11, at 3:45 PM, invites kids age 4th grade and older to register and read at least one Kate DiCamillo book before the discussion.
It is not too late to make merry for National Soup Month in January. The library has plenty of hearty warm-you-up recipes in the cookbooks on our shelves.
