The 1:15 PM movie on Wednesday, July 8, is An American Tail, Fievel Goes West. A family of émigre mice decides to move west, unaware that they are falling into a trap perpetrated by a smooth talking cat.

Kids can get creative making superhero projects any time between 1 and 5 PM on Friday July 10. Make a superhero cape, fireman hats, a Spiderman figure or superhero bracelets.
You will witness animals doing some amazing things – just like superheroes, with the Blank Park Zoo on Tuesday, July 14, at 6 PM. This is our second Summer Reading Program.
The animated movie Green Lantern, Emerald Knights plays Wednesday, July 15, at 1:15 PM. As the home planet of the Green Lantern Corps faces a battle with an ancient enemy, Hal Jordan prepares new recruit Arisia for the coming.
Summer Reading crafts are Friday, July 17. Between 1 and 5 PM superheroes can create masks, a Captain America figure and shield, and write and color hero poster stories.
Build, build, and build some more at LEGORAMA on Monday, July 20. The LEGO program is from 2 to 3:30 PM, and all ages are welcome.
Summer Reading Program number three is Police Heroes. The local Police Department is teaching bike safety, showing equipment and a police car, fingerprinting, and more, in this hero session at 6 PM on Tuesday, July 21.
The Incredibles shows on Wednesday, July 22, at 1:15 PM. A family of undercover superheroes, while trying to live the quiet suburban life, are forced into action to save the world.
The library is asking for donations of basic chocolate chip cookies, oatmeal raisin cookies, rice crispy bars, and plain brownies for our Ragbrai bake sale on Thursday, July 23. Recipes are available at the library if needed.
