Cirque du Soleil, Worlds Away is showing at 1:15 PM on Thursday, June 6, when the library begins presenting weekly family friendly summer movies.

Don’t forget dad! Join us at the library for a Father’s Day Card Making Party on Thursday, June 13, from 1-5 PM. We will have the supplies to construct and decorate cards, you bring the creativity, and then you take home a unique card for your father. Oz The Great and Powerful will also be showing at 1:15 PM.

You will need to get your books, magazines, and movies early for the weekend since Friday, June 14, and Saturday, June 15, the library will be closed for the Festival of Trails celebration.

Enjoy knitting, or interested in learning? The library has had a request to start a knitting group. This group will begin by meeting twice each month to chat, share, teach, and of course knit.  Let us know if you are interested in participating to help us put a schedule together.

June is Audiobook Month. Did you know that Hawkins Memorial library has nearly 400 audiobook titles to check out, and over 3,500 audiobooks available to download from our NEIBORS program, with new titles added all the time? Audiobooks are great to use when traveling.
