Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl is the Kids’ Wild About Books Club selection for March. Kids fourth grade and older can register, read the book, and return for a great discussion and snack on Wednesday, March 19, at 3:45 PM.
It is time to break out the books about spring at Story Time on Thursday, March 20. Preschoolers can join us for stories about this change in seasons at 10:30 AM.
The Shell Seekers by Rosamunde Pilcher is our March selection for the adult book discussion group. Participants read a book each month then meet to talk about it. You need to register, check out a book, read it by the meeting date, and join this group at the library on Tuesday, March 25, at 1 PM.
The movie Frozen is showing at 1:15 PM on Wednesday, March 26. Fearless optimist Anna teams up with Kristoff in an epic journey, encountering Everest-like conditions and a hilarious snowman named Olaf in a race to find Anna’s sister Elsa, whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom in eternal winter.
Federal income tax forms and instruction booklets are available at the library.
Amazing paper snowflake cutouts have graced library windows the past couple of months helping us to enjoy winter in a magical way. Each snowflake has a special picture cut into it that makes viewing them almost like a game. Thank you, Darlene Hopkins, for sharing these works of art created by your daughter Sandra.
