Warmer weather signals that it’s time to read books about spring at Story Time. Preschoolers can join us for spring stories on Thursday, March 20, at 10:30 AM.
There is still time to pick up the book The Shell Seekers by Rosamunde Pilcher, our March selection for the adult book discussion group on Tuesday, March 25, at 1 PM.  Register, check out a book, read it by the meeting date, and join the discussion at the library.
On Wednesday, March 26, the movie Frozen is showing at 1:15 PM. Fearless optimist Anna teams up with Kristoff in an epic journey, encountering Everest-like conditions and a hilarious snowman named Olaf in a race to find Anna’s sister Elsa, whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom in eternal winter. Popcorn too!
Try “Get lucky with a Book” at the library. You can recommend your favorite reads to other patrons and they share their favorites with you on our March “Luck of the Irish” display.
Preschoolers will discover dinosaurs at Story Time on Thursday, March 27. There will be lots of fun dinosaur books and activities that morning.
Hawkins’ Handcrafters meet from 1 to 3 PM on Thursday, March 27.  Bring any type of handwork and join others at the library.
If you have jigsaw puzzles you no longer use, please donate them to the library. We can also use card tables.
The library is looking for creative teens interested in planning summer programs for elementary, middle, and high school students.  Contact Jolene to help.
