May is Get Caught Reading Month, so you just might receive a reward when we catch you reading in the library in May.
DASH for the STASH, a contest working much like a scavenger hunt, is taking place until May 15, as part of Financial Literacy Month. To participate players gather information and leave answers to quiz questions using a computer. Iowa’s winner will be awarded $1,000 to open or add to an IRA.
Design a special Mother’s Day card for your dear mom or grandma Wednesday, May 6 through Saturday, May 9. Choose decorations, stamps, and embellishments to create a treasured keepsake.
Celebrate Mother’s Day at Preschool Story Time on Thursday, May 7, at 10:30 AM. Children will hear stories about mothers and make a charming gift.
