At 10:30 AM on Thursday, September 19, preschoolers are celebrating Union Homecoming during Story Time. UHS football players and cheerleaders will read books to the children, practice throwing a football, and teach them a cheer. And everyone will be decorating the sidewalk to show our Union spirit. Bring in your preschooler for the excitement.

Preschool Story Time at on September 26 will include a visit to the La Porte City FFA Historical & Ag Museum for reading and fun. Children will be reading about animals around the farm and trying their hand at milking the cow.
We now have a book club for kids ages 4th grade and up. Kids’ Wild About Books Club will meet to talk about the book Savvy by Ingrid Law, on Wednesday, October 16 at 3:45 PM. To participate, stop in, register, check out a Savvy book to read before the group meets, and come back on October 16, for the discussion.
