  Preschoolers will read books and participate in fall activities at the library on Thursday, September 22, at Story Time. Think fall and come at 10:30 AM for autumn entertainment.
Join other handcrafters at the library for a time of work and conversation at Hawkins’ Handcrafters on Thursday, September 22, from 1 to 3 PM.
Banned Books Week, September 25 – October 1, is an annual event celebrating the freedom to read. Check out banned and challenged books from our display, read freely, and judge the content for yourself.
First published in 1925, the seven stories collected in The Drifting Cowboy revolve around the adventures of a lanky cowboy named Bill. Stop at the library to get the Book Club selection, The Drifting Cowboy by Will James, and gallop in for the discussion on September 26, at 1 PM.
UHS football players and cheerleaders will read to children at 10:30 AM on Thursday, September 29. Preschoolers can practice throwing a football and learn cheers to celebrate Union’s Homecoming during Story Time. And everyone will be decorating the sidewalk to show their Union spirit. Don’t miss the excitement.
Tuesday, October 4 is our next LEGORAMA building program. Plan to show up and build from 4 to 5:30 PM that afternoon. The theme is towers.
The Swan Princess is the movie showing on Wednesday, October 5, starting at 1:15 PM. A power hungry sorcerer transforms a princess into a swan by day in this tale of everlasting love. Rated G, animation/comedy/family, plays 1 hr. and 30 min.
