With four games in just six days, the Union Girls Soccer team pushed to a 4-0 record to kickstart the 2017 campaign. Welcoming back offensive dynamo Courtney Powell, the Knights added victories over Iowa City High (2-0), Dyersville Beckman (7-0) and #7 in 2A Waverly-Shell Rock (1-0) heading into week three of the season. Powell leads the Knights with nine of the team’s thirteen goals scored thus far.
Union’s next home match is slated for Thursday, April 27 against Gladbrook-Reinbeck at 5 PM.
