You can discover how to download eBooks and audio books on your NOOK. On Monday, August 19, 6 PM, Hawkins Memorial Library will hold a NOOK Class. During this one-hour program you will learn how to borrow free eBooks and audio books from the library on your NOOK using the NEIBORS program.

Participants should bring their NOOK to learn how to set up everything for downloading during this class, which includes a demonstration and instructor help specifically for NOOKs. If you have a laptop and a USB cord to connect with your NOOK, please bring those as well.

Anyone is welcome to attend, even if you do not own a NOOK or e-reader. Join us if you want to find out how a NOOK works, or if you are thinking of purchasing one. Please register at Hawkins Memorial Library by Friday, August 16. Class size is limited.

Hawkins Memorial Library patrons are able to borrow e-Books and audio books from the library through the NEIBORS program. Click on the NEIBORS link on our website,, and browse the NEIBORS library. E-Books and audio books are loaned for two weeks at no cost to you.
