Return to the days of Kings and Queens, Jesters, Druids, Castles, and Knights at McFarlane Park beginning on Friday, August 8. A medieval mid-summer festival will be recreated on Saturday, August 9, complete with competitions (jousting, long bow and catapults), food and fun for all campers.  You may not win the fair maiden’s hand, but other prizes will be available.
Organizers will comb the greenwood for a wild boar to be roasted at the feast. Along with pork, all of the fixings, including drinks, for a proper feast will be furnished. There will be a nominal fee charged of $6.00 for adults, $3.00 for 12 and under, 5 and under will eat free. All you need to bring are eating utensils and an appetite.
