La Porte City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center will host its 32nd Annual Craft and Baked Goods Bazaar on Saturday, November 22 from 8 AM – 4 PM at the facility. Along with crafts and baked goods, stop by and purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win this year’s queen size quilt which is currently on display in the front living room at the Center (pictured at right). Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5 and will be available for purchase until Christmas Eve at 5 PM. The drawing will be held Christmas morning. The Center’s Cookbook will also be on sale. Cookbooks sell for $12 each or 2 for $20 and would make a great gift for anyone who has been part of the community of La Porte City Nursing & Rehabilitation Center (formerly Colonial Manor).
Numerous talented and generous staff, families and volunteers continue to contribute to the event’s success and are greatly appreciated. Proceeds from the event will be used to purchase Christmas gifts for residents of the facility to open on Christmas morning.
