Enjoy an evening of good food and great art at the La Porte City FFA Historical and Ag Museum on Saturday, October 19th, all while helping to raise funds to restore the Museum’s historic 1861 log cabin.

Guests will select from an array of unique bowls handcrafted by outstanding local potters including:  George Blair, Billy Cho, Doug Cole, Stephanie Stuefer Erdahl, Thaddeus Erdahl, Nate and Hallie Evans, Jim Kerns, George Lowe, Doug Reynolds, and Alisa Engelhart Smith. The bowl will be theirs to take home.  Admission is $25.00 and includes unlimited samples of five different soups provided by local chefs, breads, relishes, and light desserts.  Wine and beer will be available for purchase separately.

Entertainment will be provided by fun “folk rock” artist Uncle Chuck Finch and his Imaginary Band. Only 120 tickets will be available for this fundraising event so you are encouraged to purchase your ticket in advance.  Tickets are available at You’re Lookin’ Good, the La Porte City Bakery and the Museum.  (Museum hours Tuesday and Thursday 10-4, Saturday 10-2)
