Sharon Marie Timson, 81, of La Porte City died Saturday, February 21, 2015 at La Porte City Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born February 14, 1934 in La Porte City the daughter of Shannon and Marian (Kline) Davis. She married Darel Dean Timson on January 13, 1951 in La Porte City.
She worked in Housekeeping Schoitz Hospital and Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo for 21 years, retiring in 1989. She was a member of the St. Paul Presbyterian Church and the Moose Lodge both in Washburn.
She is survived by her husband Darel of La Porte City; two sons, Arthur (Lynn) Timson of La Porte City, Clayton (Connie) Timson of Arvada, CO; two daughters, Bonnie (Robert) Tripp of Colville, Washington, Dee (Paul) Westburg of Vista, California; nine grandchildren, Wendy (Kevin) Mishler of La Porte City, Marty (Dennis) Kramer of Mt. Auburn, Wade (Christi) Tripp of Colville, Washington, Joni (Rick) Hepler of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, J.C. Timson of Denver, Colorado, Walker (Nicole) Timson of Denver, Colorado, Ryan (Debbie) Parks of Davenport, Ben (Jen) Parks of California, Emily (Adam) Clark of Brandon; seventeen great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; one brother, Shannon “Pudge” (Marilyn) Davis of La Porte City and three sisters, Phyllis Foster of La Porte City, Leslie (Leonard) Mullinex of Mt. Auburn and Ruthie (Chad) Howrey of Pinetop, Arizona.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one great grandson, Skyler and two sisters, JoAnne Grove and Mary Weich.
There will be no services or visitation. Inurnment will be held at a later date in the West View Cemetery in La Porte City.
