Young readers will explore heroes this summer as Hawkins Memorial Library presents “Every Hero Has a Story” during their summer library program in July. Many activities are incorporated in these four weeks, including hero programs, animals, treats, stories, craft days, and reading prizes.
The 2015 Summer Reading Program is open to young people, preschool through 5th grade. Registration for “Every Hero has a Story” is open now. Once registered, participants can begin filling out their reading log and are able to choose a prize for every two hours spent reading.
