For the second consecutive year Union senior basketball player Brady Driscol earned First Team All-Conference in the North Iowa Cedar League (NICL) East Division. He led the Knights in scoring (367 pts.), shot 40.7% from the field and averaged 16.7 ppg., the best scoring average in the conference and recorded a league leading 116 steals. Driscol was also named to the Class 3A, Substate 2, All Sub-State team.
Sophomore John Boisen was named to the Second Team All-Conference based on his 14.0 ppg scoring average (5th highest in the conference). Boisen hit 43.2% of his shots from the floor and made 38 3-pointers during the season.
Union’s third honoree, senior Dylan Bear, received Honorable Mention honors. Bear led the team in rebounds (187) and assists (66).
All-Academic NICL awards were earned by four seniors: Brady Driscol, Tate Hadachek, Caleb Larison and Jess Larison.
Union finished the season with a 10-12 record, under the direction of Head Coach Scott Denner.
