The Union Community School District has an excellent reputation for its quality academic program and outstanding extracurricular activities. Union students consistently perform well on the athletic courts and fields upon which they compete and the district’s fine arts programs are among the best in the state. Success in these endeavors takes a combination of excellent coaching and a determined effort by students who want to perform at their very best. Sometimes, though, even the best effort of students and staff isn’t enough. That is why the Union Booster Club exists, always ready to work cooperatively with the district in support of middle and high school extracurricular activities.
Last year, the Union Booster Club provided nearly $21,000 of financial support for student activities. These donations are not limited to athletic programs, as a commitment of $8,000 has already been made in support of Union High School’s fundraising efforts for new marching band uniforms. The Booster Club funds these contributions through membership contributions, tailgating activities and the 50/50 raffles conducted at home football games. There are several membership levels available for individuals, families and businesses to choose their level of support: $20- Single; $30 Family; $50 Red; $100 Black; $250 Silver; $500+ Knight. Membership in the Union Booster Club is open to all parents, friends, family, community members and businesses.
Membership dollars and fundraising events are the only revenue that the Booster Club receives. Those who join the Union Booster Club by purchasing a membership by September 11th will be entered in a drawing at halftime of the September 16th football game for a free two-person season pass to attend Union High School home events (excluding State Association events).
