The Union High School Vocal Department is currently taking bookings for performances by the Union Carolers during the holiday season. The Union Carolers is a 16-voiced accapella ensemble that can provide programs featuring holiday music up to 20 minutes in length. The Carolers have established a rich tradition of spreading holiday cheer throughout the Cedar Valley. In 2004, the group was the featured choir at the Waterloo/Cedar Falls Symphony’s Holiday Pops Concert.

The Union Carolers not only sound the part of the holiday season, they look it as well, attired in Dickens-era outfits, complete with top hats on the men and muffs for the ladies. The Union Carolers do not charge a fee for their performances. Instead, the group accepts free-will offerings made to the Union High School Vocal Department to help offset the expenses they incur.

To book the Union Carolers for a family Christmas event, office party, club event, church tea, or other holiday gathering, contact Tim J. Mitchell at Union High School by phone, 319-342-2697, or send e-mail to: t_mitchell@union.k12.ia.us.
